Time space and all that stuff

So was man and woman here before (no this is not about re-incarnation / past lives) at least not yet anyway. Man has been on this planet in one guise or another (Neanderthalls etc) around 500,000 years or so (I think) then before that the dinasaurs ruled. But what about before that (ok so there were amoebas etc.). But what if man in some form existed before that and we just don't know - great civilisations could have grown then and developed just like now and then destroyed themselves, to be forgotten until now. Maybe there was someone just like you back then eh? You may think this is moronic drivel - but there is no scientific proof that it wasn't so (at least I don't think there is). So we can't rule it out eh?

Imagine what we could learn from those people that might help us today to stop destoying the planet and start looking after it, after all its the only one we got. Ok, so they didn't destroy the earth (evidence: its still here, moron). But they may have come pretty close (hence the ice ages etc. - who knows how that happened?).

And they reckon that homo-sapiens has reached the pinnacle of human evolution - so we are it I'm afraid! Its up to us to save the planet or find a new one. Or create a computer /robot to do it for us - maybe create a new planet / galaxy / universe or sum'at.
